Feast of Tabernacles
October 13-20, 2011

We have chosen Commons Beach because there is so much for all ages. The beach is beautiful and the park has picnic tables, charcoal grills and a playground for the young ones. For the more energetic, there are kayaks and bicycles for rent. So bring your lunch and get ready for an afternoon of fellowship and fun.

Commons Beach is Located in the heart of Tahoe City, directly across Highway 28 from the main Tahoe City downtown area, just east of the Hwy 89 intersection. Drop right out of downtown Tahoe City through beautiful rock stairwells to a large grassy area with playgrounds and nice BBQ areas. There's even a toddlers climbing rock complete with slight overhangs for young teens. This isn't a great swimming beach, it's a bit rocky for that, but there is plenty for kids to do.
